Firstly, apologies for lack of match reports.

Colne & Nelson
Building on last weeks 3 way with Skipton aand Colne & Nelso the Aire 11 took to the field with a spring in their step.

Colne were particularly busy and effective in the narrow channels and at the guard positions. Aire managed to work the ball wide on several occasions and this paid dividends.

Keighley
A very different fixture to the first one against a team we have not played for several years. The Keighley handling was superb as was their first up tackling.

In the opening half Aire tried the same tactics that had proved so effective against Colne & Nelson but with little reward for their efforts. At the interval the players and coaches discussed tactics and the need to change them. With more attacking in the middle and a more direct approach making use of pods.

Overall thoughts and comments
The players have developed dramatically since the start of the season as individuals and as a team.

Both the opposition teams tested the Aire resolve in a number of different ways and it was particularly encouraging to see the players adapt to different challenges and situations.
