Aireborough travel to Knottingley this weekend having won four on the bounce, but expecting Knottingley to be a tough test at Marsh Lane. Knottingley will be seeking revenge on Aireborough after a tight 18-15 loss in the Yorkshire Vase four weeks ago as they look to kick-start their season after a disappointing start for one of the pre-season title contenders.
Luke Exley is promoted to the starting line-up after a strong performance off the bench last week at home to Stocksbridge following a nasty head injury to Adam Jackson. Aside from the enforced change through Jacko's injury, Head Coach Si Davies keeps the same forwards.
The backs are also slight jigged with Nick Holdsworth failing a fitness test on Thursday. Rob Johnson, back from injury and impressive run-outs with the Crusaders over the past few weeks, is on the wing and Liam Cree moves from the wing to replace Holdsworth. Kris Brook has found time from posting loved-up selfies with his missus and walking around the Lake District to make the bench.
Kick off is 2.15pm.
