Aireborough RUFC to be affiliated by Yorkshire Carnegie for the second year running

With the start of the season fast approaching, efforts are going into planning what’s set to be a fantastic season of opportunity and growth for our amazing players. With this is mind, it gives us great pleasure to announce that Yorkshire Carnegie have renewed our official affiliation for the second year running, and we couldn’t be happier.
This year, members will not only benefit from the free junior season tickets, but also a wide variety of match day benefits such as Guard of Honour, Mascot positions and half time tournaments. Moreover, throughout the season, there will be a number of training sessions hosted at our home ground by Yorkshire Carnegie’s very own coaches and players.
More excitingly, with Aireborough being one of the first clubs to lead the way with the affiliation, we have been invited along to take part in a match day takeover for the first official home game on the 9th September at 3pm. On the day, 20 of our junior members will take part in the Guard of Honour duties, with two additional teams being Mascots for the Carnegie VS Richmond game, and all teams between the age of 6 and 12 playing on the main pitch during half time. We would love to see as many members there to support our future wolves and enjoy this experience with them.
We feel that this a great step in the right direction for the growth and development of our players as they move further towards senior rugby, and we encourage all members to take advantage of this year’s benefits.
