We were informed about some sad news this week with the passing of former player Chris Marlow.

I have recently been informed of the death of an ex Aireborough club member, Chris Marlow. Chris died last week following a short illness. Chris was a club member and first team player in the late 70's. Another ex player and friend from those early days paid the following tribute . “Chris “Marrow” Marlow has been a close friend since 1975, always a very fit lad, became part of the rampant First XV at ARUFC. He formed a slick half-back combo with Alf Wade and his dinking shimmies and darting bursts were a feature of his game as were his cheeky little “over the top” chip kicks, which he invariably gathered himself. My heart goes out to his wife Jacqui, daughter Jayne and son Will.
RIP Marrow.” (Passed away 30/09/20)". On behalf of the club I, as President, would also like to offer our deep felt condolences to Chris's family, I know many of the present players and members remember Chris's son Will playing for the club.
