Aire 44-31 Bramley

Aire won last night's game at Nunroyd Park scoring 7 tries to Bramley's 5.

A brace each for Chris Chapman (unsponsored), Tom Pendriss (sponsored by Ilkley Dental Care) and Luke Exley (sponsored by NW Auto Services), the game was played in a great spirit and we wish Bramley well for their remaining games of the season.

There were 1st XV debuts for Mark Rollinson (2nd row), Tom Helliwell (Tight Head Prop) and Lewis Myers (Wing), all of whom stood up to the test.

MoM: Lewis Myers looked like he'd been playing senior rugby for years, and slotted comfortably into the back line, unlucky not to bag a couple of tries himself despite some great lines and support work.

Aire continue in the Aire-Wharfe Cup next week at Yarnbury (2s), and head to Northallerton for a stern test on Saturday (ko 3pm).
